The California State Grange is prepared to accept directed donations, both monetary and in-kind for Community Granges in California and as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) provide appropriate acknowledgement for the donors. We have established various funds that your donation can be directed to. If you want your donation to go to a specific fund, make sure you let us know.

  • Used for the operational expenses of the Foundation.

  • Donations made in honor of department members and endowments to this fund are used to provide scholarships for students continuing their education.

  • Donations to this fund will be directed to members of the Grange who have suffered losses in natural disaster declared by the Government. (FEMA has codified the declaration process at 44 C.F.R. Part §206, Subpart B) Click here to view declared disasters.

  • We administer this fund as support for when those affected by a disaster are our animal companions and livestock.

How To Donate

We have two different options for donating to the California State Grange Foundation. They are:

1. You can make an online donation, using our secure page, where you will be connected to Zelle, which we use for online donations.

2. You can mail a Donation Check to us at 3830 U St, Sacramento, CA 95817. Make check payable to the California State Grange Foundation. If you would like your donation to be applied to a specific fund, please indicate this on the memo line of your check.

Donate with Zelle

Send your donation directly from your bank app using Zelle. No fees, no delays.

Please include your name and “Donation” in the memo line. If you have a specific fund in mind to which you'd like to donate, please specify.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open your bank’s app or website.
    Most banks already have Zelle built in. Look for the “Send Money with Zelle” or “Transfers” option.

    • If your bank doesn’t have Zelle, you can download the Zelle app from the App Store or Google Play Store and set it up with your debit card.

  2. Choose “Send Money” or “Send with Zelle.”

  3. Enter our Zelle information:

    • Phone Number: 916-291-9796

    • Name: California State Grange Foundation

  4. Enter your donation amount.

  5. Add a note in the memo line that says “Donation” and include your name so we can thank you.

  6. Review and send.
    Once you confirm, the money is sent instantly.
