Chair of the Scholarship Committee, Joe Stefenoni reported the committee has meet and they selected three recipients for $500 scholarship awards. They are;
•Macie McPeak, member of Ripon Grange. Is attending Oklahoma State University studying for a dual degree in Plant & Soil Science/Agribusiness. Plans on starting her own non-profit business to work with developing countries to help them grow food for social & economic sustainability.
•Lacie McGaughey, member of Dows Prairie Grange. Will be attending Cal Poly Humboldt studying psychology. She intends to continue on to Graduate school.
•Sakiko Pizzorno, child of Sebastopol Grange member. Will be attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying electrical engineering.
At the March 26th Foundation meeting, the Board voted to approve issuing three $500 scholarships. Applications must be received on or before April 30th. If mailed, the postmark must be on or before April 30th.
